These are really comfy but I thought they'd be higher based on the photo. I was looking for half calf boots. I'm wearing ankle high socks and they don't go up much further. They are lower than some Chelsea boots I already own. Other than that they are warm, and I love the zipper that makes them easy to put on.

I got these in light grey (didn't have my size in beige). I read previous reviews so sized up one size. They fit perfectly in the size up and are so comfortable. Love them!
These are immediately comfortable upon arrival. The zippers feel sturdy and the laces are plenty long for adjusting to higher volume or wide calves. I ordered up one size from my usual. I was worried that the lining would make them feel narrow or crowd my toes. My extra wide feet and toes don’t feel crowded and although I have plenty of room for winter socks, they secure well to my bare feet, too. They are definitely less snug than my Will 1 (also up one size and quite comfortable). The Ambition II is wider in both the forefoot and toes than the Will I. It has plenty of volume available, if needed, while still securing satisfactorily to my low volume feet. The cactus sole is definitely the best choice for wide feet and wide-splay toes. There is some slope to keep an eye on, but it accommodates my plateau shape. Saguaro, please keep using the cactus sole and consider expanding the selection of wide midfoot and wide toebox options. PS—I like the new width labels on the listings!

I'm bummed because they're too tight with the added insulation on the inside. My other Saguaro shoes in the same size fit, but the boots are too small and I can't return them due to them being on sale. I think they would be perfect for winter of they had fit though. I recommend getting a size bigger. I even measured my foot before ordering, so I'm disappointed they don't fit.
