FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Are hiking shoes waterproof?

Only our Brave series shoes have static waterproof functionality, able to remain dry after being submerged in 4 cm of water for 4 hours. Other hiking shoe series are not waterproof but are made with quick-drying materials that swiftly wick away moisture to keep your feet dry.

Hiking shoes are known for their comfort, especially with their wide toe boxes that allow your toes to spread naturally. However, barefoot hiking shoes lack traditional support structures, designed instead to strengthen your feet and improve natural foot strength and flexibility, enhancing overall hiking experience and foot health.

When first wearing barefoot shoes, give yourself and your feet some time to adjust. Gradually increase the duration and intensity of wear, similar to easing into cold water. Some initial discomfort is normal, but if you experience severe discomfort, stop and rest. Remember, patience is key!

To find the perfect fit for your barefoot shoes, start by measuring the length and width of your feet, then refer to our sizing guide. Our unique wide toe box design provides ample room for your toes to move, ensuring the shoes are neither too tight nor too loose, but comfortably snug.
