Machine-Washable Shoes
Our machine-washable shoes are made with durable materials that can withstand a gentle wash cycle. To preserve their quality and ensure proper cleaning, follow these steps:
- Pre-Wash: Remove the laces and insoles.
- Placement: Put the shoes in a delicate wash bag (a pillowcase works too).
- Washing Cycle: Use cold water with mild detergent on a gentle cycle.
- Drying: Shake off excess water and air dry—avoid using a dryer.
Tip: The shoes will regain their original shape after one or two wears.
Non-Machine-Washable Shoes
For shoes that are not machine washable, gentle hand-cleaning is recommended to protect the materials and ensure longevity. Follow these steps:
- Surface Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt from the surface.
- Hand Washing: Mix a little warm water with mild detergent, and gently scrub the shoes with a soft brush.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe away any excess cleaning solution.
- Drying: Remove the insoles and air dry the shoes at room temperature—avoid direct sunlight and radiators.
Note: Some materials, such as canvas or faux leather, may lose their shape or get damaged if machine washed.

They are exactly what I wanted. They're comfortable and on the first day I went for a long walk (about 4 miles) and they did very well. I also love that they don't make you look like you're wearing clown shoes the way other barefoot/wide toe box shoes do. I get a lot of compliments on them. The first pair I ordered was too small and the return process went quickly and efficiently. Many thanks for that!

My daughter HATED shoes until she found Saguaro. Now she loves them. We decided to try this new style this year for a fancier look for choir Performances. She's super excited to wear them on stage...and everywhere else.

I ordered the Cross Ⅰ shoes in beige, and they arrived a week later and were just beautiful! But sadly, size 39 was just too small. When I reached out to Saguaro customer service to let them know the shoes didn't fit and to ask about an exchange, they told me that the return shipping cost would be prohibitive, so they did not issue a return. They gave me a couple of replacement options; I ended up ordering a pair of size 40 Cross I shoes in red (they didn't have the beige or the black in size 40) at no charge. Yes - no charge! They arrived just as quickly as the first pair. And they fit perfectly! I ended up gifting the beige pair to one of my neighbours (she loves them, too). I was so impressed with the customer service from Saguaro; it feels good to know customer satisfaction is important to the company. Thanks so much for taking care of me! :) I've now done a couple of big walks in these shoes and have worn them while riding my bike - my feet feel great! I do notice different muscles activating when I'm walking in these shoes, and that my stride is a bit shorter, but I think that's typical with barefoot shoes. I'm very happy with the Cross I shoes. Still not completely sold on the red (I really loved the beige!!), but at least I know what size I need if they become available again.
I’m very happy with the shoes. I do need to add in a liner for a bit more cushion but other than that they are a nice fit.

I’m returning for exchange hopefully.. Although I have several pairs of Saguaro (6 pairs to be exact)that I wear daily, this style was tight across my instep and my toes were pushed against the end. So in this style I will need to try the next size up. I will be researching the return process.

These fit a little tighter than the running shoe style I bought the first time. I like the slightly dressy look of these for casual wear.

I really love the style of these crossover shoes, unfortunately the seam at the heel, rubbed my foot and created a blister. But apart from that, they’re very comfy for walking!
No straps
The shoes are great. I needed to exchange for larger size. It would be helpful to state on your site that they run small.
I love the look of these shoes, but they are too narrow in the toes for my feet and compared to the other Saguaros I've bought, so i returned them

I usually love saquaro shoes ( I have 4 pairs already) These just didn't suit my feet. The top edge was tight and scratchy and pressed on a ankle surgery scar. Unfortunately Im unable to wear them. Will be returning.

Love the shoes but the high back cuts into my heel. They need some breaking in, and I need some moleskin patches in the meantime
The elastic was a little tight for my right foot but once on, they are perfect.

The shoes look exactly as the pictures. I was looking for a pair of barefoot shoes that do not look like sneakers and they met my expectations. The sole feels ok although I have not worn the shoes outside of a longer walk. The toe box is wide as advertised. The only problem right now is that the back of the shoe (above the yellow Saguard logo and where the heel loop is) feels pushing forward and may rub the foot if going for a longer walk.

Very cute shoe! Ended up returning it because it was narrower than other Saguaro shoes I own, lacking that barefoot feel. Also, because there is no way to adjust it, it was difficult to get it over my instep. Just not a good fit for me 😕
