Our machine-washable shoes are made with durable materials that can withstand a gentle wash cycle. To preserve their quality and ensure proper cleaning, follow these steps:
Pre-Wash: Remove the laces and insoles.
Placement: Put the shoes in a delicate wash bag (a pillowcase works too).
Washing Cycle: Use cold water with mild detergent on a gentle cycle.
Drying: Shake off excess water and air dry—avoid using a dryer.
Tip: The shoes will regain their original shape after one or two wears.
Non-Machine-Washable Shoes
For shoes that are not machine washable, gentle hand-cleaning is recommended to protect the materials and ensure longevity. Follow these steps:
Surface Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt from the surface.
Hand Washing: Mix a little warm water with mild detergent, and gently scrub the shoes with a soft brush.
Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe away any excess cleaning solution.
Drying: Remove the insoles and air dry the shoes at room temperature—avoid direct sunlight and radiators.
Note: Some materials, such as canvas or faux leather, may lose their shape or get damaged if machine washed.

You cant see them in the photo but they are sunk in 3 inches of mud at the MD renn faire. Came home, my wool socks were dry, hosed them off and they look brand new. Most comfortable walking day I have ever had in the rain. Not advertised as waterproof, but wow, they are great. 63 years old and nothing but barefoot shoes will ever be on these feet again.

I have issues with my feet with most shoes/boots. No issues at all with these boots, and they keep my feet comfy AND cozy warm, even in Winnipeg winter!

These are the 6th pair of saguaros I’ve ordered. Always loved the brand but the last two pairs of shoes both failed after just a handful of wears. No response from customer service either, other than a lovely chatbot. This video is the zipper failing after four wears.
These are my second pair of Ambition II Barefoot Boots and the insole and sole of this pair is better than the first. My feet spread so I needed a larger size. Thank you Saguaro for carrying almost impossible to find larger sizes. Your sizing chart is a great help and the European and Chinese sizing always seems more accurate than US sizes. The suede-like material is comfortable and super durable. I like these boots more than anything else. Also your delivery was very speedy: I got my pair in less than a week. Looking forward to your restocking Brave boots which I found absolutely waterproof.
Not for real winter. It says splash resistant but the suede does absorb even the littlest layer of snow and your feet are humid all day. They are super comfy but would not recommend to anyone living where there is snow in the winter...

For waterproof footwear, the Ambition II is indeed designed to be a splash-proof shoe that is primarily suited for light everyday wet conditions, but may not provide adequate protection in extreme weather conditions (such as heavy snow or wet snow). We recommend opting for shoes more specifically designed for winter in cold and wet environments, which may be more waterproof and made of materials more adapted to cold weather.
We're glad you like the comfort of the Ambition II for everyday wear, but we understand that comfort and protection must go hand in hand. In future designs, we'll be paying special attention to waterproofing and warmth to make sure they provide better protection in cold conditions.

These shoes are impossible to walk in. The insole is very thin and moves upwards and towards the heel. My feet froze at a temperature of +5 degrees, although on saipt write up to -15 can walk in these boots. The quality is terrible, put on a few times and they no longer have the look. I do not recommend buying these boots.

I was really looking forward to these as my other 3 pairs of barefoot shoes have no insulation and these looked warm, but not crazy furry. The first two days were great and comfortable. My toes were happy with the warmth. But after only two days the insoles started to creep backwards. I I thought maybe they were too loose and tightened and adjusted them throughout the day. They keep creeping. I have shoes of the same size and fit. It's only these. I feel like I am going to use an adhesive to keep them in place. Comfortable when they're working properly, but that was only the first two days.
Best shoes ever , I have been suffering with a trapped nerve on my toe for the last 8 years and had to wear trainers in winter , this boots are just amazing , I finally can wear thick socks and have no pain in my toe ! Love it ,definitely I will purchase other products from this company! Thank you
Best. Boots. Ever!!! Seriously this company is amazing to deal with and these are the most comfortable cutest boots I own!! They are like slippers that are trendy and can be worn with everything. They run true to size, I ordered up initially but didn't need to and saguaro were amazing about the exchange process.

I bought these for my mum for her birthday. She says she was expecting that she’d need to adjust to them, but was pleasantly surprised that they were just profoundly comfy and didn’t cause any knee or hip pain. Now I want a pair too!
Absolutely love my boots, they're my 2nd pair! They are like gloves, very lightweight but durable, and so comfortable, I wear them anywhere and everywhere. If my feet are happy, I am happy! 100% recommend 😁
Almost 5-star if it wasn’t for the fact that I expected them to be real suede. The mock stuff looks ok but I don’t like the way the shoe creases which gives away the plastic it’s made of. Having said that the boots are lovely and warm and the zipper is a great stylistic feature. Plus the exceptional pricing.
I’ve tried a LOT of barefoot shoes. Saguaro is still my favorite.
The first thing I noticed with Saguaro is that their toe box is actually wide. 😂 I mean ACTUALLY wide. My toes have room to do their thing, and the shoe doesn’t start tapering in some weird place that makes you wonder who they designed it for.
I’ve got several pairs now, and I wear the hell out of them.
I spend a ridiculous amount of time on my feet with Sage & Spice (shameless plug, obviously). When we’re at an event selling seasoning, we don’t sit down. We stand. All day. On concrete, grass, mud, dirt, inside, outside…whatever the event happens to throw at us.
Other vendors will eventually ask, “How do you stand all day?”

And I’m not talking about wearing them for a couple hours to run errands. These things get WORKED.
I have regular shoes, winter shoes, rain boots, and water shoes for kayaking.
If you live somewhere cold, I HIGHLY recommend the winter shoes. I wear Merino wool socks, and my feet can still get cold in the regular shoes. The lined winter shoes? Nope. My feet stay warm.
I wear a 42 in the regular styles and a 43 in the lined styles. Both fit great. And if they’re a tie style, I usually don’t even tie them. 😂
The rain boots deserve their own mention because I have big calves and finding boots that actually fit over them is usually an adventure. These fit great.
And the water shoes have been awesome for kayaking. No complaints there either.
I’ve tried other barefoot brands. Some were good. Some were okay. Some just weren’t made for my feet.
I keep buying Saguaro.
They’re comfortable, the toe box is REALLY wide without being goofy, and they hold up to actual life.
And apparently actual life for me means standing in a field for 10 hours selling seasoning.

Ordered 2 shoes but they still haven't arrived. Somehow my address got mangled such that it had half my address and half my parents, so it's undeliverable. This must have been my fault somehow but I tried contacting about it and got an AI response. It said it would transfer to a human but it's been a week now and still no word. I've now received a "how was your order" email despite it still not arriving so maybe I can reach you through this review to sort it out...
I’m so sad that the 8.5 felt great at first but walking in them my toes scrunch at the top and front of the shoes and feel way too tight. The width is good but the actual fit length and top wise are so uncomfortable. I measured both feet before purchasing this size and it unfortunately seems that I need a size larger which I didn’t realize until after I’d worn them on my daily walk and found they do not fit. Very disappointing.
Splash resistant is a very loose term for these boots. Don't think they'll keep your feet warm enough in -5C, as my feet are cold in warmer temps than this. Tread is poor for winter walking. My barefoot shoes have a better choice than these.
I recently purchased these winter boots and sized up to accommodate thick winter socks. These boots have been so comfortable. I really appreciate they don't squeeze my toes.
