Machine-Washable Shoes
Our machine-washable shoes are made with durable materials that can withstand a gentle wash cycle. To preserve their quality and ensure proper cleaning, follow these steps:
- Pre-Wash: Remove the laces and insoles.
- Placement: Put the shoes in a delicate wash bag (a pillowcase works too).
- Washing Cycle: Use cold water with mild detergent on a gentle cycle.
- Drying: Shake off excess water and air dry—avoid using a dryer.
Tip: The shoes will regain their original shape after one or two wears.
Non-Machine-Washable Shoes
For shoes that are not machine washable, gentle hand-cleaning is recommended to protect the materials and ensure longevity. Follow these steps:
- Surface Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt from the surface.
- Hand Washing: Mix a little warm water with mild detergent, and gently scrub the shoes with a soft brush.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe away any excess cleaning solution.
- Drying: Remove the insoles and air dry the shoes at room temperature—avoid direct sunlight and radiators.
Note: Some materials, such as canvas or faux leather, may lose their shape or get damaged if machine washed.

These shoes are great, the only thing that bothers me is that there isn't adult sizes!
Great so far! Have not had a chance to test them in the rain yet, but my son claims they feel great on his foot and he is typically very picky about how footwear feels!
As parents of an amputee child shoes are one of the biggest issues we have to overcome. So often the shoes targeted towards amputees are not overall a good choice or stylish. We found Saguaro out pure desperation to try anything. We also tried Vivobarefoot they didn’t match up to the quality of Suguaro. My son has PT 2x a week and all of the PT staff comment how amazing his shoes fit what they suggest. He uses and abuses his shoes, the wildest little boy that has no chill with outdoor activities and they’ve held up so well for 7 months (blue) so we order him another pair (black). On a medial note, he is amputee but he is also missing his heel pad so he wears a custom made orthotic insole which is hard to find shoes that accommodate all of his needs.
We are very pleased with the quality and sizing. Little boy finds them really comfortable and they look great for a school shoe. Don't look too wide or silly at all. Just needed to be aware it was a 2 week delivery to the UK which we didn't expect.
These are fantastic school shoes. They’re waterproof so keep feet dry whilst walking in the pouring rain, flexible and suitable for a child with very wide feet! (Too wide for the Clarks wide fitting).
My son loves them. Although a bit large, but he'll grow into them. They keep his feet dry even in wet weather, which is great.
Comfortable and durable. My 7 year old can easily get them on/off.

I love saguaro and i have been using them for a few years now but i am aware now of having to size down to get the right fit, i ordered these for my little girl who is kids size 12 nearly 13 so i ordered size 13 but they are huge on her and dont really fit at all, so im either going to return for a smaller size and hope they fit better or possibly wait until they do fit.
Too sweaty, after just a couple of hours the shoes get so damp inside that we need to leave them to air for at least 2 days. Its a shame because they are very comfy and apart from not being breathble and getting to hot inside, the quality of the materials os very good. We got them for school but she can't wear them anymore, they are constantly wet.

Love them! My little wishes it had the little thing in the back so she can pull her shoes easily like her other pair she outgrew.
They fit my son perfectly and he will now only wear these. Nice & wide for his feet and no rubbing at the little toe.
We love these! My 9-year-old boy had a growth spurt at the end of summer, so he outgrew his running shoes, everyday shoes, and rain boots all at once, just as we were heading into fall in northern NY with its rainy days and wide range of temperatures. Barefoot shoes can add up, so I wanted something that would be multifunctional instead of buying him 3 new pairs of shoes at once, only for him to wear boots all winter and then outgrow his new shoes by spring. These shoes were perfect! He's able to climb and go for runs in them, their water resistance has been perfect for all the rainy days we've been having, and they're still stylish enough to go with his everyday wardrobe. They'll be perfect for the spring weather if they still fit him by then, but if not, I'll happily pass them along to my second son. This is our 3rd or 4th pair of Saguaros, and they've all held up well for several seasons, on top of being comfortable and true-to-size!
Way too large, have to return
Very pleased to report that they are indeed waterproof, got tested thoroughly at the beach yesterday! They do look a little bit muddy but yet to try cleaning... fingers crossed that'll be straightforward. We might go for a darker colour next time.
All three of my older kids wear these daily. They hold up so well. Even with the boys using their toes as a brake on their scooters. That leather strip really does the job.
I love the width of the toe bed. They are not too heavy which is great for kids. I did find them a bit tricky for my daughter to get used to loosening to put on. The effort put forward to ship the shoes promptly made it so we received them on time when expedited shipping wasn’t an option upon checkout. Thank you.
Great shoes for my 8yo. She loves running around in them and wearing for walks with a dog. Will also be perfect for PE in school. Loads of room for her toes, she says they fit really well compared to shoes in the shops.
We haven't gotten the shoes yet. I got an email saying the shipment is late, but I can't find anymore else out about it. I know this may not be an issue with the maker/seller, and only so much can be done, but it's been 3 weeks since we ordered them. We're looking forward to the shoes when we get them!
At last we have some shoes my sensitive 10yr old son is happy to wear to school. The waterproof feature is welcomed along with the generous toe space. Thank you.
Great barefoot shoes
*4 stars because we haven't had a chance to try out the waterproofing yet* These are our second pair from Saguaro - my son loved his first and they were one of the first shoes he actually grew out of before wearing through. With the first the velcro did wear out over time and by the end it was barely hanging on. I hope that's not the case with these. They look great with his clothes for everyday wear but also hold up to hiking and outdoor exploration.
Decided to try these ones out for my boys because they keep wearing out the toe on their shoes so fast. The leather toe has been great! They are great, sturdy, and comfy! My boys love them. These ones are great for hiking too!
Great fit and keeps our kid's feet dry and warm while playing outside in the winter weather.

My son has had these shoes since August. They are holding up great. He wears them almost every day and would normally need a new pair by now. This was his first pair of barefoot shoes and he transitioned very well.
I bought these for my nephew. He is in love with them mom says. He wants to wear them every single day!! He doesn't want to wear his other shoes anymore.
I really like these shoes. We use them as light hikers, basically an alternative to Keens. They don't breathe, but I wouldn't expect that from any waterproof shoes. I bought them this summer for two of my kids while we were traveling to Scotland. They quickly became my son's favorite shoes. I just bought two more pairs in the next sizes up for both kids. I wish they came in more colors. My daughter would prefer pink or purple.
The laces on these shoes broke almost instantly. I spent $84 USD and I would not say these shoes were worth it. I’m very unhappy with this purchase but there is no way to return or exchange from Canada
