Saguaro and UNICEF Illuminate the Future Together
June 1st marks World Children's Day, as well as UNICEF's annual day of action for children, aimed at raising awareness of children's rights and promoting the welfare of children globally.
On this special day, Saguaro is proud to announce that $1/€1 from every order of children's shoes from May 27th to May 29th has been successfully donated to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
A total of $1650 was donated.
We sincerely thank customers from all over the world for their orders. SAGUARO has felt the collective care and love for children from everyone. Our intention with this donation is to gather everyone's small contributions to make a bigger impact on the world. Therefore, we have chosen to divide the donations from children's shoe orders into three parts based on currency and main sales countries, to support children globally. Every act of kindness you make brings more beauty and happiness to the world. Thank you for your support.

UNICEF: Protecting Children's Bright Futures Globally
We chose UNICEF as our partner because of their relentless efforts and concrete actions towards improving the welfare of children globally, from war-torn areas to countries ravaged by hunger. UNICEF is always on the front lines providing essential support.
They offer support not only in emergencies but also in long-term projects aimed at children's education and welfare. In 2024, UNICEF plans to assist 93.7 million children through its Humanitarian Action for Children plan, including vaccinating 17 million children against measles and treating 7.6 million children for severe acute malnutrition.

According to UNICEF reports, in 2024, children globally will face increased violence and war, economic slowdowns, and the adverse effects of climate change. For instance, in Yemen, ongoing conflicts have left millions of children unable to attend school and lacking basic medical care and food.
